🖼️ Image Part Remover – User Guide

This app allows you to remove specific parts of an image by selecting colors (chroma keying), and fine-tune the result with spill and edge feather settings. It’s perfect for making transparent backgrounds or cleaning up similar-colored zones.

📂 Step 1: Upload an Image

    1. Click the “Upload Image” button.
    2. Select a JPG, PNG, or any standard image from your device.
    3. You’ll see two previews:
      • Original Image
      • Chroma Key Preview (Live result of your edits)

🎯 Step 2: Select Colors to Remove

    1. Click anywhere on the Original Image to pick a color.
    2. That color will be added to your Key Colors list.
    3. It will be removed from the Chroma Key Preview.

🧠 Tip: You can select multiple colors to remove all at once.

    🎛️ Step 3: Fine-Tune the Removal

    • Tolerance (0–255):
Controls how “close” a color must be to the selected color to be removed.
👉 Higher = more aggressive removal.
    • Spill Removal (0–100):
Helps reduce leftover color “spill” around edges by subtly blending pixels.
    • Edge Feather (0–10):
Softens the edges of transparent areas with a blur effect.

🧪 Use the sliders to experiment until the preview looks clean.

🗑️ Step 4: Manage Key Colors

    • View all picked colors under Key Colors.
    • To remove a color, click the × next to it.

💾 Step 5: Export & Import Settings (Optional)

    Export:

    • Click “Export Settings” to save your color selections and slider values in a .json file.
    • Useful if you want to reuse the same settings on similar images later.

    Import:

    • Click “Import Settings” and select a previously saved .json file.
    • It will instantly apply the saved settings to your current image.

    🔄 Reset Everything

    • Click “Reset All” to clear colors, sliders, and image.
    • This brings the app back to its starting state.

    ⬇️ Download the Result

Once you’re satisfied with the Chroma Key Preview:

    • Click “Download as PNG” to save your image with the removed background or color zones.
    • The download includes transparency where colors were removed.

    🎨 Interface Features

    • Dark Mode UI for eye comfort.
    • Live Preview canvas with checkered transparency background.
    • Built-in scrollbars and clean, responsive layout.

    ✅ Best Practices

    • Pick background colors or any solid areas you want removed.
